Kaizer Chiefs have registered transfer-listed Siyanda Xulu and Siphelele Mthembu with PSL for the 2016/17 season.

The duo, together with striker Edward Manqele, were part of the 20 players that were deemed surplus to requirement at Chiefs at the end of last season, following a poor season that saw Amakhosi finish fifth on the log.

Manqele has since forced his way back to the team and even started the match against Platinum Stars and Highlands Park.

Xulu and Mthembu have so far failed to make the match day squads, and it remains to be seen how much of a role they will play at Chiefs this season.

Meanwhile, injured striker Camaldine Abraw has not been registered with the league, as he is set to be out the whole season because of an injury.
