Durban woman stabbed to death by husband

According to witnesses, the victim was stabbed several times and succumbed to her injuries.

Newlands East police in Durban are investigating a case of murder after a husband allegedly killed his wife on Tuesday afternoon.

It is believed the suspect was apprehended by police after he had crashed his vehicle on Queen Nandi Drive while trying to flee the scene, Rising Sun Overport reported.

According to witnesses, the victim was stabbed several times and succumbed to her injuries. She was declared dead at the scene.

The station’s communications officer Captain ND Zikali said police were at scene and investigations are continuing.
