SuperSport United might have lost their opening game of the season, but new signing Reneilwe Letsholonyane believes the team is good enough to win the league title should they start getting goals.

Matsatsantsa a Pitori were edged 1-0 by Platinum Stars on Tuesday during Letsholonyane’s debut for the Pretoria side.

“We played well, created chances in the first half, which we didn’t convert,” said the former Kaizer Chiefs player.

“Once we get the scoring right, we will obviously be on the top log and win the league.”

Last season, the Pretoria outfit finished eighth on the log, managing to secure the top-half finish in the last game.

But with Stuart Baxter and a couple of new signings, such as Letsholonyane, Thabo Mnyamane and Morgan Gould bringing the experience at the team, Matsatsantsa are likely to be one of the contenders of the championship.
