Six robbers broke into Clicks and stole perfume worth R200 000

The armed suspects stole only perfume to the value of R200 000

Two of the six suspects approached the security guard, and one suspect produced a firearm and pointed it at the guard at Clicks store, Springs Advertiser reports.

According to Springs police spokesperson Captain Johannes Ramphora, the two suspects told the guard and a female cleaner to lie down on the floor.

“The armed suspects called their four accomplices. One suspect stayed with the guard and the cleaner,” said Ramphora.

Five of the suspects took out an axe and smashed the window to gain access to the shop.

Ramphora said they stole perfume to the value of R200 000 and ran away.

The one suspect who had stayed behind with the two victims also fled the scene.

Four of the suspects were wearing balaclavas.

No one was injured.
