Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly close to signing Chicken Inn defender Teenage Hadebe after the Zimbabwean defender underwent a successful trial at Amakhosi.

Hadebe underwent a week-long trial at Chiefs and is said to have impressed Steve Komphela and his technical team.

Now Hadebe’s agent Gibson Mahachi has confirmed that negotiations between Chiefs and Chicken Inn have started.

“Kaizer Chiefs indicated that Hadebe, who returned from South Africa on Sunday, made the grade, and as it is they’ve started negotiations with his club. Negotiations are a process, but if all the parties agree, he will join Chiefs before the (South African) transfer window closes at the end of the month,” Mahachi told Bulawayo24.

Should Hadebe complete his move to Chiefs, he will be the third Chicken Inn player to join Amakhosi after Mitchelle Katsvairo and Edmore Chirambadare completed their moves during the current transfer period.

Both players signed three-year deals with Amakhosi.
