Phakaaathi sources have revealed that Kaizer Chiefs are not done yet in their efforts to get Black Leopards playmaker Siphelele Ntshangase.

A source said Amakhosi are preparing a swap deal that will see either Siphelele Mthembu or Edward Manqele heading to the Limpopo-based National First Division (NFD) campaigners.

“Chiefs are finding the R5 millon a bit steep so they are now putting together a new deal. They want to offer cash plus a player to Leopards,” said a source.

Amakhosi may still be rejected though as Phakaaathi has reliably learnt that Ntshangase’s representatives have opened talks with the likes of Bidvest Wits and SuperSport United.
