Enyimba winger Joseph Osadiaye says the Nigerian champions must beat Mamelodi Sundowns in their Caf Champions league tie to bow out of the competition with pride.

The Peoples Elephant, who have no chance of advancing to the semi-finals as they have not registered a win in the group matches, will welcome the Brazilians at the Enyimba International Stadium on Tuesday in their last group stage match.

“The game against Sundowns is not going to change anything for us but we have to fight and make sure we bow out of the competition with a win,” Osadiaye told Completesportsnigeria.com.

“It’s disappointing that we have no chance to progress further in the competition but we have to learn from our mistakes and do better in future.

“I just hope we get the chance to play on the continent next season.”
