SuperSport United goalkeeper Ronwen Williams is looking forward to working with new goalkeeper coach, Andre Arendse and competing with Reyaad Pieterse in the goalkeeping department.

Williams won SuperSport’s Players’ Player of the Season award after featuring in 30 league games for the club keeping 11 clean sheets.

“I knew that if Reyaad comes it would be good for both of us,” said Williams.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old shot stopper is confident his side will challenge for the league title this season.

“Everything is looking fine at the moment and now with the addition of Andre Arendse as well – all the experience and what he has achieved, hopefully that can help us.

“We have experienced guys in the team, the three players who joined from Kaizer Chiefs have won the league – champions’ material coming in here.

“Cole Alexander has been doing well for the past few seasons. Everything is going to plan.”
