The woman was held at gunpoint by three armed men

A woman was robbed of her wedding ring by three armed men in Bredell, in Kempton Park, Gauteng, on Thursday afternoon in her yard, Kempton Express reports.

The ring is worth about R450 000.

Kempton Park police spokesperson Captain Jethro Mtshali said the incident occurred at about 1.39pm at the woman’s home on 2nd Avenue. The men approached the woman while she was outside in her yard.

“The victim was held at gunpoint by three armed men,” Mtshali confirmed. The thieves were travelling in a black Audi SUV.
