On Thursday, it was the turn of Incredible Connection branches in Atterbury Value Mart and Kolonnade Mall.

Police spokesperson Captain Kay Makhubela condemned the robberies.

“We are concerned over the spate of robberies, especially those in electronic stores. Investigations are under way, and we hope to make arrests soon.”

In the Atterbury Value Mart robbery, an employee was assaulted.

“The robbers became aggressive and assaulted the employee before all staff were forced into the backroom,” one of the victims told Rekord on Thursday.

“They took laptops, an undisclosed amount of cash and our personal items (wallets and cellphones).”

The mall said the robbery occured at about 11.45PM.

It was not immediately clear if the three robberies were committed by the same gang.
