Mamelodi Sundowns winger Keagan Dolly believes his side can beat Tshwane rivals, SuperSport United, in the 2016 MTN8 quarterfinals.

The Brazilians and Matsatsantsa will lock horns at the Loftus Stadium next Sunday, August 28, as each side aims to win the top 8 tournament for the first time since MTN took over as the title sponsors in 2008.

The winger will not be involved in the cup tie, as he is still nursing a hamstring injury he sustained while on national duty in the Rio Olympic Games last week, he hopes his side will not crash out of the first round like they did last season.

“It is never easy to play against SuperSport United. They are a difficult team to play against, and with the new signings they have made – they have good players and it won’t be easy,” said Dolly.

“For us, I think we have the upper hand, we have the momentum being in the Caf Champions League, playing well and winning games. We are ready for the challenge. Considering we crashed out in the first round last season, I think for us it is to turn the tables around and overcome SuperSport.”
