Vincent Kobola believes Lehlohonolo Majoro can fire in the goals for Cape Town City this season.

Majoro has just joined John Comitis’ new side from Orlando Pirates, after a disappointing 2015/16 season, where he scored just once in all domestic competitions.

The 29 year-old is effectively a replacement for Collins Mbesuma, who did not move with the side to Cape Town, when Comitis bought the MP Black Aces franchise.

“Majoro has the experience, he has been there and he can score goals,” said Kobola.

“We need to give him support and encourage him so he can score. So far, so good, his fitness is a bit lacking, but we still have a couple of days (before the start of the season), so he should be ok.”

“It is up to Majoro to work hard if he wants to score, but for me he still has the quality.”
