Eagles need to pay up. After a month-long contractual dispute between Karabo Letabe and National First Division side Royal Eagles, Phakaaathi has reliably learnt that the 22-year-old defender did not receive his July salary from Eagles.
The Pietermaritzburg side claim to have a contract with the player, but allegedly failed to pay his salary.
“This is an unfortunate situtation for the player. His agent claims his client is no longer contracted to Eagles say he is their player. If indeed he is their player, they should be paying him his salary, but they did not, and the player is frustrated,” said a source close to Letabe.
