The toddler’s father apprehended the suspect and handed him over to police.

A toddler sustained injuries to his face and hand after a rock was smashed into the side back winder of the car which he was travelling in during a smash-and-grad incident in the south of Joburg at the weekend, reports the Comaro Chronicle.

The incident took place on Saturday, August 13, at about 4.15pm at the intersection of Kliprivier Drive and Columbine Avenue.

It’s believed the rock was thrown by the infamous rock thrower who operates at that particular intersection and surrounding areas.

The toddler’s father gave chase, caught the suspect and handed him over to the Mondeor Police Station. A case was opened and the suspect will be appearing in court.

The toddler is doing much better and is at home.
