Phakaaathi has learnt that Bloemfontein Celtic is set to lose more players as the club is reported to be in financial trouble.

Celtic is set to face an exodus of players with reports claiming that the club is struggling financially failing to pay some players on time.

Siwelele captain Bevan Fransman was the first player to leave the team for Maritzburg United in the current transfer window.

Celtic are now on the verge of losing winger Thapelo Morena to Mamelodi Sundowns.

More players could leave Siwelele as they are not happy with the financial situation at the club which is believed to have started when the club was sold to Max Tshabalala by Jimmy Augusti.
