Chiefs to play some home games in Durban?

Kaizer Chiefs will reportedly play some of their home games away in Durban this upcoming season.

The Soweto giants played three of their home game is Cape Town last season after signing a reported R4.5 million deal with the City of Cape Town.

They games were against Bidvest Wits, Platinum Stars and SuperSport United at the Cape Town Stadium.

Amakhosi had indicated that they could extend their partnership with the City of Cape Town this season, however Kickoff.com reports that the Glamour Boys have decided to take some of their home game to Durban in the 2016/2017 season.

“Yes, we have been told via a third party that Kaizer Chiefs have opted to take some of their homes games to Durban,” Cape Town City spokesperson Priya Reddy told Kickoff.
