Bafana Bafana will face Egypt in the 2016 Nelson Mandela Challenge on September 6 at Orlando Stadium.

The details were confirmed by South African Football Association CEO Dennis Mumble on Friday at Soccer City.

The game will kick off at 7pm and should help Shakes Mashaba’s side in their preparation for the 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifiers, which start in October with a trip to Burkina Faso.

Bafana have already failed to qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, but still have one more game to play, at home to Mauritania on September 2.

Egypt, a side boasting talents like Roma’s Mohamed Salah and Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny, have already qualified comfortably for Gabon 2017.
