The confiscated drugs had a street value of an estimated R137 900.

Police in Kimberley are investigating a case of dealing in drugs after two men, aged 32 and 36, were arrested yesterday.

In a statement, the South African Police Service said it was alleged that on August 3, the Crime Prevention Unit members from Kimberley Police Station followed up on information about alleged drug peddling in Florianville, Kimberley, in the Northern Cape. The members discovered tik and cat drugs to the street value of R137 900.

The two suspects were arrested and charged with dealing in drugs. They are both expected to appear in court tomorrow.

Police investigation continues.
