The Citizen bumped into controversial businessman and former politician Kenny Kunene at his Sandton voting station, Ward 103, at 8am on Wednesday morning.
We asked him about THAT painting, his thoughts on young people and voting and who he would choose in this election considering that he was a founder member of the EFF after dumping the ANC, and then he was a founder member of the Patriotic Alliance (PA), before quitting that party too as its secretary-general in the middle of 2014.
He said he was feeling conflicted, and that’s why he was wearing the colours of both the ANC and the PA, and he would decide who to put his cross next to once he was inside the voting tent.
He made headlines in 2013 for writing a scathing letter criticising President Jacob Zuma not long before he, Julius Malema and Floyd Shivambu announced they would be starting the EFF.
There was not a shred of red thread on Kenny on Wednesday though.
So definitely no EFF for Kenny then.
