Cape Town City FC John Comitis believes bringing together players with different playing styles will work in the team’s favour.

This comes after the club signed Latvian defender Renards Rode on a one-year deal from Czech club SK Sigma Olomouc.

“I believe this proves that Cape Town City are sending out strong signals that we are here and we mean business,” he said.

“Signing a Latvian international is another way we are balancing out the team with different styles of football.

“We have the home Diski players as it was from Mpumalanga Black Aces, then we’ve now added some youth from Cape Town and we mixing it with the Europeans’ experience.”
