Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says the club is planning on signing another star ahead of the new season.

Sundowns completed the signing of Sibusiso Vilakazi from Bidvest Wits this week, but the Brazilians are not done as they are lining up a transfer deal for a star player.

Steven Pienaar and Anele Ngcongca have been linked with moves to the Absa Premiership champions.

“There is another player who is coming in, he can play as a 10 or as a nine, a top player,” said Mosimane.

“I can’t talk about players that belong to another team. Anele would like to come to us, we will see.

“As for Steven, I don’t know, Pienaar is a good player, but he is still thinking.

“Pienaar can retire also, but it would be good to have him…we will see.”
