Myeni has been a regular at the Buccaneers since joining in 2012, and the decision to place him on transfer was a little surprising.
Ertugral indicated that Myeni, now 28, has been put on transfer to make space for new signing Riyaad Norodien.
“The team is a living organism and we had to analyse. Players are like the stock market – we have a lot of fantastic wing players in the country and here at Pirates. We got another good one from Ajax in Riyaad, so someone also had to give way. The boy (Myeni) is not a bad player but we needed to open spaces for other players,” said the Pirates coach.
