Commuters have been left out in the cold standing at several bus stops in Pretoria following a bus service stoppage.
Tshwane metro spokesperson Lindela Mashigo said this was due to a work stoppage by the Tshwane Bus Service (TBS) drivers on Monday, Rekord East reported.
“The reason for such strike action remains unknown at this stage.”
He said the TBS management was ready to engage with the union to find out the reason for the stoppage.
The metro has appealed to all commuters to make alternative arrangements for transport till the matter was resolved.
