A Twitter user using the handle @Tvhba and the obvious pseudonym Bruce Wayne (Batman, for those who have been living under a rock), became a brief trend sensation on Tuesday morning after Minister of Sport Fikile Mbalula retweeted the user’s portrait of him.
“Bruce Wayne” is clearly a bit of an Mbaks fan, calling him “the coolest” and adding emojis of hands clapping, and then a soccer, basketball, tennis and rugby ball, in tribute to Mbaks’ portfolio in government.
The portrait took us somewhat by surprise, because we weren’t aware that the minister wears a ring in his left ear. Also, he seems to have a mountain of a hunchback, or is it a Cassper Nyovest-style ponytail?
The less said about those nostrils and what seems to a pizza crust surrounding his face, the better.
The minister had a good laugh about it and wanted to know which art school Bruce Wayne had attended. The rough translation of the isiZulu is basically that he’s never seen something so rubbish in his life.
The artist responded that he had no training. It was just “raw talent”.
Hai hai hai – which Art School did you attend ?
Sizoba Uboya College? https://t.co/8sdHWf1sZX

Mbaks shouldn’t complain. At least Ayanda Mabulu hasn’t taken to drawing him yet. We’re not sure we’d even want to see that.
Razzmatazz is not the only celebrity Bruce Wayne captured for posterity. He turned his keen aesthetic eye on Pearl Thusi, Bonang Matheba and others.
We must say, this guy has talent. He should be able to sell each of these masterpieces for no less than R100 000 each.
You can thank us later for helping to unearth this special Mzansi artist.
We’re not entirely sure who the guys are supposed to be, but HHP and Brickz came to mind … although it’s not them, just people who are famous on Twitter.
We’re a little worried about where Thando Peaches’ left eye is going.
Let’s not knock any of this, or the ghost of Picasso will haunt us.
